Cindy Neilsen
Chief Administrative Officer
Cindy has been a valued part of the Escapees family for more than 19 years, drawn to this lifestyle by her parents who also worked in Escapees parks. From her roots as a park host to her current position as Chief Administrative Officer of Escapees RV Parks, she has remained focused on delivering a consistently enjoyable experience to guests of Escapees RV Parks.
Travis Carr
President & co-CEO
As the grandson of Escapees RV Club’s co-founder, Kay Peterson, Travis has a deep attachment to this organization and the community it supports. Growing up in the RVing lifestyle, and continuing it with his family, gives Travis a first-hand perspective on the needs and wants of RVers.
Melanie Carr
Vice President & co-CEO
Melanie joined the Escapees team in 2011 bringing new and innovative ideas and programs to the Escapees portfolio of services. As co-founder of Xscapers, with Travis Carr, Melanie has helped grow the RVing community to envelope a new generation of RVers.
Support team
Bud Carr
In 1987, Bud Carr was lured away from his contracting business to work with Escapees RV Parks. While officially retired now, he remains a key advisor and active consultant for the Escapees Park system and serves on the Escapees Board of Directors.
James Hendrix
James began his career with Escapees in 1997 as webmaster and has filled the role of IT Administrator for the past many years. Though he isn’t an RVer himself, he enjoys the Escapees community and the many interesting RVers he’s met!
Cassie Gimlen
Having grown up in the Escapees family, Cassie has a strong affection for RVers and the RVing lifestyle. She serves the RVing community as assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer of Escapees RV Parks.
Marketing team
Kerensa Durr
Kerensa has been a full-time RVer for over 6 years. She lives the RV life and understands the needs of the RV customer. After leaving the busy design world of NYC to hit the road, she joined the Escapees RV Parks marketing team to bring the joy of RVing to others.
Brandon Hatcher
Brandon is an avid RVer, designer, and marketer. He hit the road in search of freedom and now works to share the excitement of travel with others. Working with Kerensa, he will work to bring your RV park to the masses.
